Batching Plant Advantages
How do you prepare yourself in advance for the installation of a concrete mixing plant?
There are certain points that have to be clarified before starting the assembly. These are:
The foundations must be built taking into account the local conditions and the static loads of the concrete mixing plant.
Some concrete batching plants require only a low ramp to fill the overhead silos, which reduces both the space requirements and the operating costs of the wheel loader. If the soil is stable, it may be sufficient to simply install the concrete batching plant on a mobile steel frame or on concrete slabs.
Other installations may require deep foundations with foundations, high aboveground foundations and high and long ramps, which can significantly increase investment.
All materials needed to make concrete must be available on time and in the required quantity. This is especially important if production is to begin immediately after installation.
4th Space Requirement
Make sure that there is enough space on the property for the system itself as well as all the equipment needed for the construction, such as: for the mobile crane. If this is the case, the installation can be carried out so smoothly and no additional time is wasted on unexpectedly required measures. The average space requirement for a mobile concrete batching plant is about 20 x 50 m.
The consistency of the fresh concrete should be chosen so that it can be conveyed, installed and practically completely compacted without any significant segregation. The decisive fresh concrete property is the processability. The fresh concrete consistency must be determined before the start of construction and adhered to during construction. As the fluidity increases, the concrete becomes more expensive. To check the consistency, there are standardized site-specific procedures, the slump test, the slump test and the compaction test.
